food is always delicious however today the gumbo had shrimp shells and crab shell in it did not enjoy at all

The absolute best . You can't go wrong ordering anything from DiMartino's. My favorite is rose the dress on a hot toasted muffuletta bun. Real Roast beef and real gravy. Excellent staff. Courteous, friendly, helpful. Wonderful décor , great seatings. A really great place for friends to go to lunch, to go to dinner Or just have a snack. Their food is delicious, ample ,comedy and Mouth watering. You will not be disappointed in anything you get here and this is a place you really must try

The fried eggplant was awesome. They are sliced in very thin strips and coated in Italian bread crumbs and it tasted like a hint of Parmesan cheese then deep-fried until crispy, definite winner! I had the roast beef po-boy combo. Seemed like it had a little less meat than usual and I don't really care for the sesame seeds on the French bread. Everything else was spot-on. Definite must- go whenever I come home!

Good food but $10.00 onion rings, $12.50 for bowl of gumbo & $ 4.50 scoop of potato salad that's expensive!!!

I hadn't had a proper muffuletta in many years until now. It was pretty good, not excellent. I think I was expecting the meat to be a little warm inside, but it wasn't. Kinda pricey as well.

If you haven't tasted "Italy's Best Kept Secret" with a side order of shrimp potato salad, you obviously have never been to DiMartino's on Carol Sue Ave in Gretna (Terrytown) or on the North Shore.I visit the location in Terrytown.They have a large menu (but you won't see Italy's Best Kept Secret on the menu- "it's a SECRET"), you can dine in or order to go .There's also Buffett style dining. C'mon, what are you waiting on?

This was our first time trying a Muffuletta and we liked it. Charming, small place with some historical photos on the wall of how the Muffuletta was invented during the great depression.

Love this place! Great muffalettas and poboys. Love love love the chicken Italiano salad, and the poboy combos are perfectly sized.

The food at DiMartino's is excellent. The portions are very generous. The service is good and the people are friendly. It really is a neighborhood restaurant. It's always clean and neat and the owner is usually there keeping tabs on everything.However to be honest the parking is limited. So some parking on the street is required. Don't be fooled by the look on the outside the inside is very nice. The muffaletta is very good but be sure you have a big appetite because they're all so large. The roast beef Po-Boys are to die for but they are a little sloppy because of the gravy. In my view one of the things that makes the food so successful is the bread they use. It's crispy and always fresh.

Always the best in town with the best poboy bread and shrimp. Can't beat it anywhere else. Also the best muffelatta you will get anywhere in the city. Highly recommend you try them out.

DiMartinos on the Westbank of the Mississippi River in New Orleans has one of the best muffulettas I have tried. The portions are generous, especially the shrimp platter and roast beef poboy. You will always be greeted with a smile at DiMartinos in Terrytown.

Love DiMartino's , everything there is delicious. The french bread is so crunchy, the pasta meals, salads, fried seafood,all delicious. Great place to eat. Also staff always pleasant, we go to the Carol Sue restaurant.🤩
